Spiritual Healing is defined by the SNU as being a form of healing by the uses of forces and energies from the World of Spirit, channelled through the healer by the laying on of hands on or near the body, or prayer or the direction of thought from a distance. It is important to make clear that the healer does not perform the healing – the healing energy comes from spirit, through spirit to spirit. If you need further explanation of this concept, then please ask any of the healers.
We offer 'hands on' spiritual healing every Wednesday from 2:00pm through to 9:00pm and after the Divine Service every Sunday from 8:00pm to 9:00pm. You don't have to be ill in order to feel the benefits of the healing, so come along, rest, relax and enjoy the experience but accept that we give no guarantees and we do not claim to cure. However, note that healing can be given to pregnant women only with the consent of the midwife and the consent, ideally written, of a person with parental responsibility (parent, guardian, social services etc.) is required before healing can be given to persons under the age of eighteen.
There is no charge for Healing but all donations are gratefully accepted. Home or hospital visits can be arranged for the elderly, infirm or disabled and Healing is available for animals. Contact us fordetails.
